Who you Rollin with?
It all started with the urge to exercise and get fit this summer by doing things i would enjoy rather than just gong to the park or gym to work out. I decided to buy a cheap mountain bike to do a couple circles around a park or go out to the city and back...
WELP! ME+Something i like+Something that challenges me+My enthusiasm for sharing the feeling=Me riding with a pack of folks that essentially will feel the same way.
What started out as 5 miles turned into 25 miles and this week it turned into 45 miles of bike riding growing from 2 people to 10 people. My expectation will be 25 people doing 50 miles 2x a week by the end of the summer.
I have learned that when you change your life style you change the way you see your everyday environment. NYC is a beautiful City when you want to go out and get fit and explore the bike paths.I love it! It is very therapeutic for me and i appreciate the fact that i am able to share the same sentiment with others.
Looking forward to 100 miles (on a good road bike)....
